Kitten Thunder are very good at crafts. They love to sew and helped me make a receiving blanket for our new niece.
This week, we are making two squares for a quilt for The Boy’s train club. Obi helped me cut out the squares. It helped a lot that I was using the magic toy making stick to draw lines.
But they really like yarn craft.
Oliver thinks this scarf needs more grey.
Obi thinks it has just enough.
Maybe too much.
Obi is up to…nothing. There is absolutely nothing to see here.
Winter has arrived and that means a space heater in my office. To contain the warmth, I close the door.
But not all the way, of course, because Kitten Thunder would not approve.
The candle on the floor is holding the door just the right amount open. Well, that’s what I thought.
Two minutes after closing the door, I heard a thump. I looked over to see the shadow of feet in the hall. Then I heard another thump. A moment later, Oliver poked his head in and glared at the candle.
Oli plunked down onto the blanket on the bed.
Soon after, I heard Obi coming down the stairs.
There will be no attack of the pod monster today. He’s too cozy.
