On Friday, I attended the Ladies Night Out event by Zonta. I learned a lot of disturbing facts about domestic abuse in Laramie County – like there is way too much of it. It’s not okay. Ladies, never let a man hit you. For that matter, men, never let your wife or girlfriend hit you. It is not okay.
So I gave a bunch of money to Zonta. One of the things they had to fork over cash for, was grab bags. This girl can’t pass up a grab bag.
I chose the grab bag the way anyone should: which bag would my cats like best?
The bag was a little small, but it had just the right amount if tissue paper. It also contained a book that makes me think that maybe I would like a trip to France.
Your regularly scheduled blog post has been canceled due to kitten in the face.
Please tune in Sunday for our regularly scheduled post.
I was gone for for days, watching my nephew’s hockey team take home the championship trophy.
Kitten Thunder was not too pleased with my absence. They were determined, last night and all day today, to make up for all that lost time.
I did get up late this afternoon for a visit to the gym and a meeting. Oliver was not pleased.
I also stopped at the grocery store to get food. That’s a little bit more acceptable.
Oli was laying with me on the couch, under a blanket, while we watched TV. Then The Boy got up.
The prewarmed chair called to the grey kitteh.
But so cozy. And Girl.
After 15 minutes, the call was too strong. Oliver got up and went to the chair. But it was not warm anymore.
Opportunity missed. Girl missed.
Sorry we missed you on Thursday, the interwebs were down. Have a beer on us to make up for it.
What? Just reach in there and grab one. What’re you waiting for?
